On our journey from A Coruña to Ribadeo we did a quick one night stop off in Santiago de Compostela, famous for its impressive cathedral which marks the end of el Camino de Santiago. It was a lovely city with a buzzing atmosphere of groups of people having finished their walk/bike trips across northern Spain.

I was so excited to come to Cádiz for a pretty special reason, I had my very own tour guide/running buddy/new-found-friend waiting for me who I had only met a few weeks ago... It was one of those coincidences in life when the saying 'it's a small world' couldn't be more fitting.
