About me

Alice.B

Hello! I'm Alice, a fourth year Spanish and Management student at the University of St Andrews and 2019 Alex Richardson Award winner. I have created this blog to share my exciting 6-week summer adventure that has been made possible thanks to the generosity and kindness of the Richardson family.

My project combines my two passions - travelling and running! I will be exploring my favourite country by running ten kilometre runs in 10 Spanish cities. You can check out my route and more info on the MY PROJECT page.

For the next 6 weeks, beginning 4th June, I will endeavour to always be on the move, exploring beautiful Spanish cities, making new friends and creating unforgettable memories...

About the Award:

The Alex Richardson award was founded in 2009 to enable a student with a spirit of adventure to engage personally with the culture of a Spanish speaking country. The Award was set up in memory of Alex Richardson, whose untimely death occurred midway through his junior honours year at the University of St Andrews. Alex's passion for life was unbridled and his interest in Spanish speaking cultures was fuelled by his own travels in Central America.
